Difference between lab-grade & mined diamond:
Lab-grade stones are created in a laboratory, while mined stones are naturally created over a period of millions of years.
They are synthetically created stones (exclusively know as AshMil lab-grade stones) to simulate the look and strength of a natural (mined) diamond, but without the imperfections found in natural diamonds. In general, mined diamonds are composed entirely of carbon, conduct a little more heat, and weight less than synthetic stones. High quality synthetic stones can be impossible to identify as lab created using the naked eye, visual inspection, or even normal jewelry equipment. A device that shines ultraviolet light through the stone must be used to identify its actual creation.
